What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician II position at Kelly?
Establish yourself with an Industry leading company performing inspections on assemblies, components, and material. Familiarity with hand tools, such as calipers, or simple electrical testing equipment is mandatory. Knowledge of Windows Office (especially Excel™) and SAP desired. Duties include first article inspection, non-conformance investigations, material management, and other quality technician-related duties as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections in accordance with current procedures and training.
- Verify product performance specifications and Final Inspection Procedures.
- Occasionally connect products to high voltage electrical currents and utilize electrical test fixtures.
- Work regularly with other production departments where good communication skills are required to avoid misunderstandings and to achieve desired results.
- Occasionally access sensitive or restricted data where confidentiality must be maintained to avoid adverse external effects on our sales and customers.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, proactive, comfortable making prioritization decisions, and able to remain focused in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and communicate about technical specifications. (Especially product drawings)
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Associated Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands:
- Full range of body motion with the ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach, kneel and climb stairs/stepladders while intermittently being exposed to noise, fumes, dust, and dirt.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing area at times.
- Ability to spend extended amounts of time working on a computer.
