Job Description

IT Front Desk Representative
Onsite - New Orleans (near the Superdome)


This role will serve as the front desk liaison for the IT department including assisting others with onsite need and phone support.
Must have exceptional customer service skills, ability to multitask and work independently.
This is a 3 month contract that is likely to extend and has the option to convert to hire.

Typical Job Duties:
  • Accept packages and mail
  • Will serve a part of the Operator team, answering calls that come thru internal and external users
  • Answers routine, frequently asked and scripted questions, and provides information about services
  • May prepare written replies using forms and form letters
  • Updates inquiry tracking system to reflect actions taken, responses given and inquiries forwarded for further research and response
  • Updates reference and source data in Information Technology systems
  • Uses computer and information technology systems to research information needed to respond to and track the progress of responses to mail, electronic, telephone and in-person inquiries
  • May work with some finance stuff in time including process invoices
  • May help to support other administrative tasks as need for team
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of receptionist, front desk support or related experience
  • Ability to pass background check
Hours: full time, start time can be 7:30am or 8am.
Contract: 3 month contract likely to extend with option to convert
