What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Coordinator position at Kelly?
Wage: $50-$55k annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
The Sales Coordinator works closely with the inside sales team to enter sales orders and carefully maintain the sales order backlog. The Sales Coordinator works with customers to update their orders and track the approval process from order entry to final approval. The Sales Coordinator advocates for outrageous customer service while simultaneously protecting the company's interests and assets.
Job Duties:
- Drives OTAC (“on-time, accurate, and complete”) commitment throughout the sales order entry process
- Processes and enters sales orders obtained by the sales team.
- Works with the inside sales team to enter price changes to current orders.
- Works with the customer to maintain approval drawing schedules.
- Updates orders based on customer or sales specifications.
- Works with customers to ensure backlog integrity of “ordered, not scheduled.”
- Attends and participates in project kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Posts orders to public sales board.
- Cultivates key partnerships with the sales, operations, engineering and finance teams as part of keeping the sales backlog accurate and up to date.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement projects to improve sales order entry process
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, strongly preferred
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Competent in key workplace tools such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce and ERP systems
