- Duration: 24-Month Contract with Possible Extension
- Location: Dearborn, MI 48120 (Currently remote/Will transition to hybrid)
What’s a typical day as a Trainer? You’ll be:
- Maintaining and managing existing Purchasing Learning & Development SharePoint sites, including the Purchasing L&D Portal and Onboarding sites
- Creating, maintaining, and managing new SharePoint sites
- Providing administrative support in the setup of courses and classes within the Learning Management System
- Coordinating class session scheduling
- Providing reporting of course completion and registration for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Managing signed rosters of completed Purchasing courses for recording
- Supporting Learning and Development strategic initiatives within Purchasing, such as New Employee Orientation and Onboarding
- Managing several project-based learning and development initiatives and delivering results on time
- Creating and analyzing the monthly Learning Management System reports to determine learning needs and to schedule appropriate course sessions and to provide feedback to course SMEs for course improvement
- Potentially delivering Purchasing systems and other standard classes depending on capabilities
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- A Bachelors or Associates degree (preferred) • Will consider equivalent experience
- Competence in the use of the following software: All Microsoft Office programs and SharePoint
- Competence in the use of the following software: Captivate, Camtasia Studio, Graphics programs, and Photoshop • Instructional Design and Performance
- Learning and delivering Systems training, especially SAP Ariba and SAP 4 HANA (preferred)
- Experience partnering with local, regional, and global customers
- Project Management experience
- Working with competencies and skills to define learning needs (preferred)
- Consulting skills (preferred)
- Strong customer relation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills including flawless spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- The ability to adapt to customers’ ever-changing needs
- Effective collaboration skills
- Data analysis skills
- The ability to work independently
