Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects and makes accept/reject decisions regarding each piece, part or product.
- Inspects incoming material using a variety of gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
- Inspections also include final product verification and checks to ensure all processes have been followed and all parts are included.
- Inspections will also include a review and disposition decision of failed components or products returned from customers.
- Basic Reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Use available computer programs to document inspections.
- Identifies and communicates existing and potential quality issues
- Reviews and approves Device History Records prior to final release of finished goods.
- Performs other duties and assignments at the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- 1-year minimum hands-on experience using inspection gauges and test instruments, including manual or computer-controlled coordinate-measuring machines.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Manufacturing experience
- MS Office experience including Excel and Email
