Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Validation Technician in Lake Forest, IL!
Summary:
The validation technician will be responsible for managing and performing metrology duties in full compliance with cGMP, safety, and other applicable standards.
Duties may include:
- Ensure required qualifications, calibration, and maintenance is performed in a timely fashion by working with vendors, Quality Assurance, and R&D management.
- Ensure all equipment documentation is complete, up-to-date, and stored properly.
- Ensure that installations and maintenance activities performed conform to all applicable safety codes and standards. i.e.: OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 70E.
- Generate, review, and approve equipment related work orders, maintenance, calibration, validation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) GMP documentation.
- Oversee and support the troubleshooting of equipment and/or method issues.
- Evaluate new equipment, processes, and methods, oversee necessary training, and ensure operational compliance with established procedures.
- Abide by safe work practices and adhere to general safety rules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field (Chemistry preferred.)
- 2 years of relevant work experience required, working with lab equipment, calibration or repair, and metrology functions.
- Detail oriented, organized, self-starter, good communication skills.
