Kelly Services is hiring for Bunge for a Warehouse Associate on day shift
6am-2:30pm M-F
This role pays $20.00 per hr. and can go temp to Hire for the right candidate.

Position Summary:

Warehouse Associate handles finished product prior to customer delivery and must have clear understanding of product packaging standards and transportation equipment standards. Knowledge of product descriptions, palletizing methods, and lot numbers is required to ensure accurate order processing. Proper loading ensures that trailer weights meet state and interstate highway weight requirements, and that our product arrives at the customer free of damage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work consistently in a safe manner.
• Move product within the premises using a spotter truck, forklift etc.
• Perform basic order selection, picking, palletizing, and loading functions for finished product orders, which includes the following:
  • Inspect trailers to be loaded to ensure company standards are met.
  • Decide proper load stacking and sequence following FIFO.
  • Labeling of products
  • Verify product codes, lot numbers, and item counts.
  • Prepare correct picking and loading records to facilitate accurate transportation documents and customer receiving documents. This will ensure accurate accounting of product and lot numbers, proper customer invoicing, as well as complete and updated finished product inventory.

• Maintain safe operation of transportation equipment. Lock and chock trailers for personal safety.
• Ensure safe storage of product to eliminate safety incidents.
• Maintain order and arrangement of finished product in storage areas to ensure integrity and quality of the finished product; ensure areas are neat and clean.
• Maintain and manage product inventory using inventory management software
• Other tasks and activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or the Warehouse Manager.

Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, demonstration of proper forklift operation, basic computer skills are required (knowledge of Microsoft Suite and SAP is preferred). We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently under little to no supervision

Training Requirements: Good Manufacturing Practices, sit-down forklift and motorized pallet movers, computer software training

Physical Demands: Basic job functions involve operation of sit-down forklift; stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds are common; stacking cases and manual stretch wrapping. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
