At Kelly® is currently recruiting for Warehouse Clerks for one of our top clients in Social Circle, GA only approximately 11 miles from Covington and Monroe, GA.

** Great Need for 2nd and Weekend Day Shift**
Location: Social Circle, GA 30025
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr
Shifts:
2:00pm – 12:30am M-TH (2nd shift)
6:00am – 7:30pm FR-SU (Weekend Day Shift; will round up to achieve full 40 hrs)
6:00am - 2:30pm M-F (1st Shift)
**with some overtime as required.
Assignment: 6 Month Contract with Possibility of Extension for Right Fit Candidate
Summary
Ensuring the effective and accurate shipment of finished goods to customers while complying with all safety shipping policies and procedures
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in loading and unloading trucks and maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
- Prepares packages for shipment in a manner that ensures a damage free arrival.
- Creates supporting documents to ship HazMat in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Creates supporting documents to ship items via various shipping portals (i.e..Traxs System, WorldShip, Clippership)
- Complies with Federal Drug Administration, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation, Material Safety Data Sheets standards and company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical computations.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments.
- Physically capable of climbing, kneeling, stooping and frequent lifting of 16-30 pounds up and down to head and chest level.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate forklift, pallet jack and or power lift.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Must also be able to work in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled along with infrequent exposure to natural environmental elements.
- Good Judgment, positive attitude, high level of initiative and detail oriented.
- Ability to differentiate product utilizing proper document/label identifiers.
- Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills.
- Must be able to count accurately and efficiently.
- Some local travel may be required.
- Data entry experience.
- Shipping experience preferred
- Must follow rules to prevent damage to the product the company manufactures
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1-3 Years of warehouse and/or technical office experience.
