Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the product life cycle for multiple products among our diverse customer base. The Project Coordinator manages the cross-departmental activities for the Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) Process, Product Launches, Product Life Cycle Support (LCS), and works with a team to meet customer requirements.
Job Duties:
- Organize, plan, and direct product development and/or program schedules
- Document customer expectations and/or specific customer requirements
- Track relevant milestone dates and metrics and drive action items based on results
- Coordinate and track inter-departmental activities to ensure commitments made relevant to product development timeline, delivery and quality are met
- Manage product lifecycle activities to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Ownership of responsibility for accounts of various complexities
- Responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations at various levels with both internal and external customers
- Provide project status presentations to various levels of management & customers
- Monitor and manage all project activities in master tracking spreadsheets for easy access and transparency for all collaborating members of our internal teams.
- Maintain document control, database management and coordination and tracking of project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters
- Act as liaison between customers and the project delivery team, and escalate customer issues as needed
- Responsible for customer satisfaction reviews and corrective actions
- Follow-up with customers to obtain necessary information, plans, data, specifications and other items critical to the proper flow of information
- Support sales in the development of additional business for new and current customers
- Coordinate product commercialization including packaging, product features, copy points, product claims, videos, sales samples, etc.
- Contribute to continuous product improvement plans

Qualifications:
- Associates or BS degree in Business, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in product development and/or project management preferred
- Knowledge and skills in project management processes and procedures
- Proficient Microsoft Office, Excel; JDE/Peoplesoft
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience in full product development cycle supported by formal project management methodology
- Successful experience with on time project completion
- Experienced in developing project management documentation and control systems preferred
- Experienced in providing project status presentations to various levels of management & customers
- Strong collaborative skill, flexibility and the able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization, verbally and in writing
- Ability to analyze data, think critically, problem solve, and focus on proactive activity to prevent quality issues
- Experience working with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Regulatory Compliance, Supply Chain, Production, Distribution, and other manufacturing company teams in product development through First Launch and beyond.
