Kemin is seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be in charge of and responsible for supporting the production efforts of the plant through maintenance and repair of equipment to assure maximum available up time. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot breakdowns and quickly correct problems. This position works 7:00am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday, and is based at the Kemin Nutrisurance Verona, Missouri facility, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Working with blueprints
- Continually executing the Preventive Maintenance program
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and quickly correct problems
- Skilled at machine repair, welding, piping, and mechanical problem solving
- Fabricating and installing new processes that are being introduced into the production arena
- Level 1 electrical skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What we require of you:
- High School diploma or GED with 3-4years of related experience or Technical School with 2-3 years of related experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Good time management skills
- Basic technical skills including machine repair, piping, HVAC, etc.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Qualified with Lockout-Tagout, Confined Space, Hot-Work Procedures and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
