Kemper Salvage Specialists' arrange for the sale of salvage at the highest possible price. Handles salvage losses and makes recommendations for the disposal of the salvage vehicles. Entry level candidates welcome to apply! We will pay to train the right candidate!
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists adjusters by sending appropriate total loss paperwork to the vehicle owner
- Provides assistance to the vehicle owner by answering questions and by providing directions on how to correctly complete the total loss paperwork
- Learns and maintains thorough knowledge of state salvage and title laws for assigned states
- Maintain data on Salvage trends and provide weekly/monthly reports to management
- May provide assistance to claim representatives by answering questions regarding state salvage and title laws, including owner-retained salvage laws and salvage title laws, upon request.
Position Qualifications:
- Prior experience in salvage handling or insurance related experience preferred.
- Prior work experience in an office environment, which includes prioritizing, working with little direct supervision and multi-tasking required.
- Basic PC skills and typing at 20 WPM with 95% accuracy required.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people with varying levels of education
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail required.
