Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Pay: $16.00/Hr.
Schedule: Requires evenings, holidays, and weekends
Job Functions:
- Is proficient in preparing meals for those residents that require assistance per order; is detail oriented and conforms to any IL restrictions as required.
- Provides efficient service to residents and guests in the dining areas.
- Ensure the sanitation of all areas of food service in the front of the house by utilizing checklists and signing off daily on those checklists.
- Assists in shutting down the kitchen during the PM hours by working with co-workers to expedite the process.
- Cross-trains in the Marketplace and provides quality food products making sure foods are fresh and of the highest quality and appropriate temperature.
- Assists in maintaining the department’s sanitation by adhering to cleaning schedules and storing food properly using provided labels.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds.
- May stand or walk most of the day.
- Must be able to tolerate sudden variations in temperatures.
- Must be able to move tables and chairs.
- Must be able to push food carts up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to tend to trash weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to sweep and mop large areas.
