Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, possess excellent leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of servers, hosts, and support staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
- Oversee dining room setup, cleanliness, and organization
- Train new employees on restaurant procedures and standards
- Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
- Proficiency in food handling, including knowledge of food safety protocols
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Shift management experience with the ability to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus
