What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Kennedy Jenks?

We are currently seeking CAD Technicians to join our Design Delivery CAD Team.
What you will do:
As part of our team, you will assist engineers and multi-discipline project teams in preparing and managing drawings using CAD and/or BIM software.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine to moderately difficult drafting and design assignments.
- Understand and adhere to company or client standards.
- Ability to work in a ProjectWise environment.
- Address red-line markups provided by designers and engineers.
- Perform detailed work thoroughly, neatly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Receive and adhere to budget expectations for task assignments
- Communicate with designers and engineers regarding task execution.
- Work in a project team environment.
- Ability to back-check own work prior to delivery to internal client.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
- 2 years of experience in relevant fields (water, wastewater, civil land development)
- Ability to use various drafting and design-related software including, but not limited to, AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, Bluebeam REVU, Microsoft Products.
- Ability to interact professionally both internally and externally at all levels of an organization.
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills. Read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a valuable member of the team.

Pay rate for this position is anticipated to be $25 to $35 per hour, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.
