IT Analyst 


JOB SUMMARY

IT in turn must prepare itself to support the strategic shift of Kensing to accelerated product innovation, outstanding quality of delivery, higher rates of growth, and increased profitability. To meet this challenge IT requires an enthusiastic and experienced support staff who can bring energy and empowerment to the IT workforce to achieve the vision of “outside-in” focus (i.e., business first) and can position IT as a premier service delivery and enablement organization.


The Analyst of Applications (IT) is responsible for supporting high quality, reliable application platforms and operations to the company. This position is operationally responsible for the day-to-day support, and implementation of applications and solutions that support the company’s customers, employees, and business partners. This role also collaborates closely with the Director of Applications. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for the implementation of applications and solutions that support the company’s customers, employees, and business partners

· Deliver innovative products to our customers

· Validate and execute that software licenses are in order 

· Assist customers serve fast-changing market demands for solutions that provide leading performance, economics, and quality.

· Support the strategic shift of Kensing to accelerated product innovation

· Support the strategic shift of Kensing with outstanding quality of delivery, higher rates of growth, and increased profitability.

  

APPLICATIONS


· Provide support and maintenance for Application operations, ~100 Applications with ~200 users. 

· Provide support in the Application domain including strategy, architecture and technology planning, licensing, vendor selection, and other externally oriented activities to maintain solid working relationships with key partner and proper compliance with licensing requirements.

· Provide support to assigned project teams that are deploying new application functionality inclusive of ERP modules, best of breed applications, integration technology, and other elements of the application architecture.

· Assist in identifying emerging technology trends, especially in SaaS and cloud computing, and ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value. 

· Ensure that all application development initiatives are well managed and delivered to meet expectations on functionality, timeliness, and cost.

Requirements

  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS


· A minimum of 5 years in application support, software management, project management, and process development

· Primary ERP experience preferred is SAP.

· Has successfully supporting multiple complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals.

· Experience developing and supporting mission critical applications optimized to run in the cloud or virtualized environments.

· Understanding of system architecture, technical design, and system and software development technology. 

· Experience with managing application development at scale, deploying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

· Has knowledge of emerging trends and developments in Salesforce, PaaS, SaaS, AI, machine learning and other digital technologies

· Knowledge and proficiency supporting one of the primary ERP systems, e.g., SAP, across its associated lifecycle management

· Knowledge and understanding of cyber risk platforms and technologies

  

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS


· Required Education:  Associate degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related degree

· Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, M.B.A/MS, or other related degree

·  4-5 Years of experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT 


· Work is primarily performed in an indoor office setting with extended periods at a computer

· Travel requirement: 10-15%
