GENERAL NATURE OF WORK
This position is for three 10-hour days (30 hours) but will receive full-time benefits. This is a skilled position involving knowledge of animal health. An employee in this class is responsible for providing animal care; recognizing, preventing, and addressing illness, injuries, and disease in an animal shelter.
Provides assistance, instruction, and trains shelter personnel in the performance of animal health care duties. Duties are performed under standard supervision from the Animal Services Director.
