What will you do
The Associate Brand Manager will be part of the brand development team responsible for the innovation strategy and communications on behalf of 5 priority markets with the goal of building a consistent brand that is globally competitive. This person will help anticipate trends and be responsible for helping shape a strong, purpose-led growth strategy & innovation pipeline. They will also develop the communication strategy, creative assets and playbooks to drive a consistent brand & portfolio execution globally.
The ABM will be instrumental in helping the team identify opportunities to drive brand and category growth with disruptive new products claims, hero communication assets & cohesive growth playbooks, bringing them to life through close partnerships with key cross-functional & commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hep shape, develop and enable a strong & consistent innovation pipeline that supports brand priorities
- Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, local markets, and other critical stakeholders to execute innovation to meet the needs of our consumers
- Deliver innovation pipeline & hero assets that meet and advance the category prototype in close collaboration with key internal and external partners
- Understand and advocate for consumer needs and preferences, keeping a close view on current and emerging trends
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve consumer experiences with the Brand to deliver brand growth goals
- Monitor competitive market dynamics to inform the development of, &/or changes required to growth playbook & marketing strategies plans
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current environment and industry trends, digital advancements, oversee category and competitive analysis, stay abreast of latest competitive activities and sales
- Develop hero content for our new product launches
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A BA/BS in Marketing or a related business field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of marketing, innovation, and/or sales experience is required.
- Previous brand management or sales experience at CPG is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Innovation experience in Beauty or Skin Care is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with R&D, Market Research, Communications Agencies, Finance, Sales and Project Management is required. Experience working with Legal, Regulatory, and global partners is preferred.
- Proven ability to understand a consumer target and position a brand/project/innovation
- Works well independently while possessing strong leadership & communication skills and a demonstrated history of building collaborative, lasting relationships that deliver business results.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities successfully.
- Ability to work closely with cross functional and other internal teams.
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, and commitment with a strong bias for action and prioritization.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to work confidently and respectfully at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
- Someone who is highly creative with the ability to think out of the box.
- Comfortable working with numbers, metrics & spreadsheets.
- Able to influence key partners with ideas that build value.

- Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $88k to $124k. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
