Skills:
- Must be capable of lifting 75 lbs. and operating material handling equipment (forklift/Drexel/man-aboard).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to learn our operating system Trapeze.
- Requires basic math skills.
- Working knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of employees.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform storeroom activities such as, but not limited to; shipping, receiving, create material transfers, disbursements, identification of parts and supplies, issuance of parts and supplies.
- Maintain a neat and orderly storage area.
- Perform all clerical functions related to the performance of these duties. i.e., filing, data entry.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Attend and participate in all assigned training, specifically safety and security related.
- Must be able to perform all other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned during emergencies
Working Days/Hours/Locations
2 roles open:
Opening 1 - Extra Board Stores Clerk
Days/Hours are “as assigned”. The Extra Board Store Attendant must be prepared to work between 3 locations including BET/Readville/Widett as assigned on a daily/weekly basis. Over a 7 day period, there will be 5 work days and 2 rest days as assigned.
Opening 2 - Stores Clerk
The Store Attendant will be assigned to the BET Location in Somerville, MA. Days/Hours are Wednesday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Additional Statements
Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. Must pass a physical examination.
