Pack/Repack Assembler

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB:

To assemble a quality product in an efficient manner

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly packages products as assigned.
• Inspects components for visible defects during the packaging process.
• Meets or exceeds production efficiency standards on a regular basis. 
• Is a positive contributor to all team goals. 
• Ensures safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies.
• Assures adherence to SOPs, GMP & ISO policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the completion of daily assembly and packaging of products to meet production level requirements.
• Properly accounts for time and attendance by entering the correct codes as directed. 
• Follow instruction as given by Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties including special projects as assigned by the Production Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
• Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements:

• Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. 
• Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. 
• Visual Acuity: Closely viewing in order to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal; reading; inspection involving small defects, small parts inspection; using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
