GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB:
To assemble a quality product in an efficient manner
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly packages products as assigned.
- Inspects components for visible defects during the packaging process.
- Meets or exceeds production efficiency standards on a regular basis.
- Is a positive contributor to all team goals.
- Ensures safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies.
- Assures adherence to SOPs, GMP & ISO policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the completion of daily assembly and packaging of products to meet production level requirements.
- Properly accounts for time and attendance by entering the correct codes as directed.
- Follow instruction as given by Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform other duties including special projects as assigned by the Production Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Meets productivity standards; works quickly; completes work in timely manner.
- Observes safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions.
- Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements:
- Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.

- Visual Acuity: Closely viewing in order to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal; reading; inspection involving small defects, small parts inspection; using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
