Key Job Elements:
- Create production schedules that will meet customer demand while maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Responsible for getting accurate data entered enabling CSRs to get timely delivery dates for their customers.
- Able to identify and resolve Constraints - Capacity, Resource & Material.
- Coordinate with production and sales teams to keep data accurate and current in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with the Materials Manager to analyze, forecast and purchase the required materials to satisfy schedules.
- Analyze capacity for current and forecasted business levels to ensure action is taken to meet demand.
- Monitor on-time delivery, report any foreseen issue, and contribute to improvements in delivery metrics.
- Able to help set and meet the KPI’s for the group.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field.
- 5 years’ experience in production scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in scheduling and working with an ERP system.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
