ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other duties may be assigned, in addition to those identified below.
- Performs all duties in compliance with FDA, ISO, EPA, OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Sample and test raw material components according to current procedures for conformity with specification and approve or reject those components accordingly.
- Sample and test finished product according to current procedures for conformity with specification and approve or reject those finished products accordingly.
- At the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, perform such testing as may be required from time-to-time in any existing or proposed process validation.
- Perform any testing or routine monitoring required in any existing or proposed procedure which is or may become a part of the quality assurance program or manufacturing process and which is an addition to the testing of raw materials components or finished product.
- Prepare such forms, documentation or calculations as may be required from the Quality Control Laboratory in the manufacturing process and quality assurance program.
- Maintain an accurate, legible and current laboratory notebook recording all tests or results of experiments, which are not otherwise recorded on approved forms.
- Maintain the Quality Control Laboratory and laboratory equipment and instrumentation in an orderly and clean condition performing any maintenance, calibration and repair of such equipment and instrumentation as may be required.
- Maintain the product retention room in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform In-Process QC testing and maintain the documentation on all materials requiring such testing as needed to support the production facility.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by Quality Assurance Supervision
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Gas Chromatograph experience/knowledge.
- Knowledge of current good manufacturing practices.
- Good Laboratory practices
- Abilities in skills in general chemistry
- Analytical chemistry
- Verbal and written communication
- Computer skills
- Reading comprehension
- Organization
- Record keeping
- AA Degree or Equivalent Laboratory experience
- Analytical or Research Study experience required
