Where You'll Work
Our Fort Worth, Texas location is part of our Dairy division and creates soups and sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. We are a fast paced, never a dull moment manufacturing facility that comes together as a team to get the job done. What You'll Do
Night Shift 5 pm to 5 am
Experience with Spiral and tunnel freezers, steam and air systems.
- Trouble shooting equipment and taking corrective action to ensure that all equipment is operating to standard.
- Ensure that all safety elements are functioning on all production equipment as required.
- Performing P.M.’s, work order repairs, and routine maintenance upkeep.
- Ability to work & coordinate work assignments with other refrigeration techs as needed for job completion.
- Ability to maintain a strong Teamwork environment and adhere to all Kerry safety and operational policies.
What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe
- Work average of 12 hours per day on any shift ( Days or Nights /7 days a week )
- Overtime may be required to cover.
- Cold & Hot Environments 38-40 degree / 60-100 degree.
- Prolonged walking & standing on concrete floors 95 % of the day.
- Bending, reaching & lifting throughout the day.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Able to push or pull on equipment weighing up to 400 lbs.
- Assemble & disassemble equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. This requires bending, stooping, and squatting to lift and assemble/disassemble some of the equipment.
- Wash down floors with hot water & Squeegee when necessary.
- Able to operate a forklift, scissor lift and floor jack.
- Must be able to read and write English, have basic math skills and ability to use a calculator. Bilingual a plus.
- Must follow all safety rules, Must be able to pass PFT testing and also able to wear a respirator and be familiar and certified in Lock Out Tag Out
- Will report directly to Lead person on shift.
