About the role
The role of supply network planner is key to delivering a planful environment for both our customers and our manufacturing sites delivering sustainable and consistent levels of service through optimum levels of inventory. The role works with Demand planners, site SC managers, Sales , and some central SC managers , the key deliverables are creating a robust 90 day horizon plan that gets refreshed each week and is shared to the Sites via the weekly meetings, The role attends the weekly Supply-Demand control tower so that decisions can be taken on the inventory coverage and estimating projected OTIF levels .
The role delivers a key part of the linkage between our monthly S&OP planning 12 month horizon and our sites .
What would you do?
Ensures a balance between supply and demand
Automates and optimises the planning process
Formulates mid-term plans (13 weekly and monthly for 18 months) to ensure stock availability
Support identification of requirements, issues, critical success factors, and progress.
Maintains a rolling rough-cut capacity plan in planning book SAP
Collect and maintain key master data for planning – lead-times, batch sizes, resources, calendars, run rates, MTO/MTS determination
Creates Requisitions, Process Orders, Purchase Orders as needed to support the plan
Provide support to troubleshoot data problems to help resolve the root cause of issues and streamline the business processes
Create standard operating procedures and adhere to a maintenance schedule of these procedures
Experience of inbound and outbound distribution networks
What will you need to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year accredited college or university in Accounting, Applied Economics, Finance, Quantitative Business Analysis, Supply Chain, Business Operations Management or related field of study.
3 years of experience on a similar role
This is a remote role with constant travelling between the Byesville OH. And Beloit WI. sites
Advanced analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
Inquisitive nature that enjoys problem-solving and identifying business improvements.
Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast moving, demanding environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with various levels of business users, IT department, and vendors to resolve business and system issues in timely manner.
Supervisory experience or hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
