Summary:
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining item master data in SAP for the US operations. This person will act as gatekeeper to ensure all critical data elements are in place before items are used.
In This Position, You'll Have the Opportunity to:
- Perform activities related to master data management:
- SAP System Setup – Create all new part numbers, work centers, routings, and BOM for all machines, molds and products, including releasing standard cost.
- Approve and support the business requests to mass create, change, extend, block/unblock, activate/deactivate, or otherwise modify master data.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve errors and assist other master data team members and cross functional partners with issues they encounter.
- Maintain consistent setup across plants.
- Identify areas for data quality improvement and help resolve issues with data quality.
What You Need to Succeed In This Position:
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Flexibility and strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Should have the highest regard for attention to detail and the ability to review own work for accuracy and format.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of general master data maintenance or analysis experience.
- 2 years of manufacturing process and costing knowledge.
- 2 years of experience with a manufacturing ERP system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field.
