Kett Engineering is pre-qualifying candidates for a Logistics Administrator position in Maricopa, AZ.
Job Summary and General Purpose of Position:
This critical role will oversee logistic moves to support our customer and their affiliates. This individual will monitor and provide direction and/or assistance to all customer affiliates, vendors, brokers, and freight forwarders for timely clearance and export of specialty vehicles and test equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Monitor domestic shipments and providing timely processing of all vehicle and test equipment shipments (inbound/ outbound; domestic).
- Provide customer service and coordination of on-site specialty logistics for customer, affiliates and worldwide test groups.
- Process vehicle move and transfer requests to support customer cold weather testing.
- Process Mexico imports and exports requests.
- Prepare vehicle scrap documents
- Prepare and distribute billing and finance reports.
- Cross train to cover International Customs & Shipment Coordinator duties.
- Support other customer affiliate locations for above purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Skills/Experience- Directly related experience with shipping and customs formalities. Knowledge of multimodal/global freight forwarding and customs clearance requirements. Advanced computer skills, with experience using Access and other Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook). Knowledge of customs database applications both UPS and AIS. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to build processes.
Education- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associates degree preferred, but may consider prior work experience in related field.
Other Requirements- Must be flexible and available to work overtime and odd hours, including weekends and Holidays. Willingness to function in a team based, continuous improvement atmosphere.
