Serves as primary Customer Service Representative for prospective student/families, current students and other Kettering University Staff. Serves as greeter and primary telephone contact answering multi-line phone for Financial aid. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Opens, date stamps, reviews, tracks and distributes all incoming correspondence for Financial Aid. Posts and documents the outside scholarships, sponsorship tuition and sponsorship OMSA. Preliminary review of incoming documents, and follow-up of additional information required. Creates mail merges for various email notifications to send students as directed.Maintain office filing system. Serves as primary for Financial Aid email alias. Responds to email inquiries requiring written response. Assist with the entry of scholarship information into student records, track scholarship thank you letters, follow up with students. Maintains Inventory of office supplies and financial aid brochuresProcess degree exit interviews for undergraduate students and maintain record storage.

Provide coverage for Office Manager role; including but not limited to: Processing and managing financial aid paperwork, ordering supplies, managing technology for the department, preparing and managing shipments, processing mail, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Financial Aid department;
- Experience with Kettering University;
- Associates degree.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and;
- Commitment to excellence in all aspects of work responsibilities;
- Customer service oriented with a dedicated interest in serving students;
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills that convey a high level of professionalism and respect;
- Good sense of humor and the ability to put people at ease in tense situations;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and duties based on timelines and goals;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
- Proficient at MS Word, Excel and Google Mail (or similar emailing system);
