Business Development Representative - Long Island and surrounding areas
Develop and maintain beverage volume and profit through new and existing customers in specified geographic area representing all brand products.
- Reporting Location: Long Island, NY.
- Coverage Territory:To include the following counties: Nassau county, suffolk county and surrounding areas
- This position will be working Monday through Friday from 6am until finish with support on weekends/holidays if needed. Shifts may differ depending on travel, meetings, or events.
Position Responsibilities
- Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to maximize brand growth, share growth, brand distribution, and to obtain specific volume objectives.
- Contact key personnel in assigned accounts pre-selling products, promotions, displays, point-of sale material, beverage section revamps, service requirements.
- Develop and implement beverage shelf re-allocations designed to maximize the sales of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.
- Participate in the installation of revamped beverage sections, displays and placement of POS material according to company merchandising standards.
- Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in the allocated beverage section, including racks and secondary displays.
- Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, including special reports on promotional activity, competitive sales and space allocations.
- Maintain adequate amounts of back stock in each account to ensure product availability for in-store stocking and merchandising.
- Develops and executes total Business Plan for assigned territory
- Develops relationships with targeted accounts to maximize potential
- Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
- Demonstrated success interacting with people by phone, leading and persuading and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting
Total Rewards
- The starting salary is between $45,000 - $70,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements
- 2-3 years of outside, B2B sales (Outside Sales / Account Manager)
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and basic computer programs.
- Exceptional prospecting, presentation and conceptual selling skills.
- Must have personal vehicle with clean driver’s license (Motus Requirement).
- Ability to build long term rapport with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presence and interpersonal skills.
- At least one year previous package goods, outside, or systems sales experience.
