Indirect Materials will be responsible for supplier relationships, price negotiation, inventory level management and purchase order dispatching for some families of indirect materials, as well as maintenance of item attribute data in the system. Responsible for fulfilling the increasingly complex material management requirements, increasing SKU mix, bidding of major supply relationships, and direct importing of products.

Responsibilities:

• Identification of indirect material requirements in both quality and quantity specifications for informing RFP or RFQ projects
• Research of industry and due diligence to qualify potential suppliers
• Project management, including bid outs of supply relationships
• Management of specific supply relationships, including price and term negotiations
• Logistical management of supply to Sumner location
• Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels for assigned indirect materials
• Coordinate with multiple departments to include scheduling, production, and maintenance at both the site level and across the greater supply chain network management of multiple suppliers for the Sumner location
• Create and place purchase orders

• At least five years of purchasing experience preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing, including packaging materials preferred
• Bachelor's Degree and/or Accredited Purchasing Professional certification preferred

Competencies:

• Inventory policy and Material Requirements Planning
• SOX controls knowledge and compliance experience preferred
• Analytical and reporting skills from data acquired from ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Great communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
• Computer Literacy, preferably experience with database programs, electronic purchase order systems, and SAP
• Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Manufacturing best practices
• Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
• Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our Operating principles
