The HR team is a customer-obsessed team that supports employees, managers, and other HR functions to provide simple, knowledgeable, and efficient solutions that drive operational excellence and business results. The Workday Data Manager position at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for supporting the Human Resources service delivery model by providing front-line support to enable efficient data transactions into Workday. The position is a 50% manager role, and 50% contributor role. The role will oversee a small team that focuses on Workday data entry, data auditing, mass EIB loads, and ad hoc reporting. This position carries out the duties and responsibilities of this function and ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures in addition to required federal and local regulations.

 

What you will do:

  • Evolve how we work
    • Streamline how work tasks are prioritized and completed through managing the HR ServiceNow ticket queue. Ensure team is meeting SLA's and completing work as directed with quality outcomes.
    • Provide team performance and career guidance while also completing your own day-to-day commitments
    • Actively seek out and implement processing efficiencies that enable timely, accurate and complete data entry into Workday and receipt from upstream systems
    • Build organization and position management understanding amongst business process stakeholders (Manager, HR Partner, HR COEs) through proactive stakeholder management
    • Simplify and drive adoption of standard and ad hoc report creation and maintenance
    • Ensure complete traceability with issue resolution and expand Workday process documents
    • Lead major and minor project upgrade data workstream activities to ensure continued quality outputs
  • Create a culture of data quality
    • Efficiently manage high volume changes and updates related to employee, business, jobs data
    • Perform complex data analysis to determine root cause of business process inefficiencies across connected people system
    • Continuously audit system data to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across connected systems
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders on issue resolution to not fix the problems once and for all
    • Build active partnerships across payroll, talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, compliance, and HR Partner teams
    • Manages end to end employee data flow, deeply understanding the payroll, recruiting, and benefits implications of the data entered
    • Escalate data issues and solution recommendations to Management
  • Enhance partner relationships
    • Partner with external stakeholders to support delivery goals through matching current and future team resource load, career and skill development opportunities, and ultimately impact quality and certainty of committed work
    • Drive efficiency and quality through end-to-end data flow from upstream through downstream systems (Talent Acquisition, IT Security, Analytics)
    • Use a blend of intuition and analytics to improve how work is allocated and shared across the team, as well as measure individual contributor development progress
    • Drive and monitor escalations up and down program and project governance paths to improve quality of team’s work output
  • Challenge how you work
    • Understand and exhibit ownership of the transformative outcomes of HR initiatives, and consult with project teams to ensure the team’s work is leading to those promised outcomes
    • Own major end-to-end processes and events of work, take initiative, and use problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs to be achieved
    • Partner with HR, IT, and Business project sponsors to bring definition to a project; create effective delivery framework based in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall to ensure quality and on-time delivery in the context of aggressive timelines
    • Independently gather information from a variety of sources; to analyze, interpret, and summarize data gathered, and to deliver insights
    • Implement the future of HR cross-functional planning to create best-in-class HR technology delivery

Requirements

What you must have:

  • A./B.S. in Business, Human Resources or related degree; MBA or relevant Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience and 5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects
  • PMP® Certification preferred
  • ScrumMaster and/or Scrum Product Owner Certification preferred
  • Consultant and vendor management expertise strongly preferred
  • Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma expertise strongly preferred
  • Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders
  • Ability to translate complicated project concepts (milestones, risks, desired outcomes, decision options, etc.) into concise observations and recommendations
  • Possesses strong strategic orientation, analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and evaluate broad impacts of work
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to lead, influence, and motivate others in the work group
  • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
  • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
  • Demonstrated successful application of project management methodology, tools, and best practices
  • Must be able to develop and clearly and concisely present a professional product to multiple levels of management
  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments
  • Experience in effective change management techniques and implementation
  • Possesses broad knowledge covering multiple Human Resources functions
  • Experience with organizational design and process improvement
  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our best practices
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our operating principles
  • Anticipate travel up to 10%
