We’re hiring a driven electrical construction project manager with at least 5 years of verifiable experience to lead our team of professional electricians! You’ll work with general contractors and engineers to make a plan for the entire project and then manage our team to make sure it’s done right. Responsibilities: Secure any required licenses and permits from appropriate authorities to ensure construction is up to code Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if needed Plan and schedule the entire construction project, including construction operations and timelines to make sure project deadlines are met Supervise general contractors and laborers and provide direction when needed to ensure the job is high quality • Demonstrate ability to effectively and profitably manage electrical contracting projects. • Ability to read and interpret plans/specifications and all other forms of construction documents. • Ability to manage all aspects of complex commercial/industrial electrical construction projects. From estimating to negotiation to contract review to layout design, to material buyout, to installation, to project close-out. • Estimating experience with current industry standard estimating software (ConEst, Accubid, etc..) • Ability to lead multiple project teams at multiple project sites, from start to completion. • Functional knowledge of the project budgeting processes. • Working knowledge of common business software (Office Word, Excel, Outlook email, etc.). • Experience with Bluebeam, Autocad, BIM, and other design software will be given preferential consideration. • Proven track record of successfully working with General Contractors and Owners. • Punctual in nature, able to work to and meet project schedules and deadlines. • Able to maintain and manage a fast-paced and changing environment. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Able to think and solve problems • Able to manage difficult situations. Qualifications: Completed training for OSHA 30 license Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills 1 years of experience as a construction project manager Experience using construction or project management software preferred • At least 5 years of verifiable experience as an electrical construction project manager. • Possesses and maintains TDLR electrical journeyman or master's license. • Past experience and proven efficiency using Bluebeam, Autocad, BIM, or Revit design software. • Experience using industry-standard estimating software.
