The Graphic Design assistant will be responsible for providing support for the design department. You will work under the supervision of the lead designer/owner to produce high-quality designs for Hair Care & Beauty Brands.

Responsibilities/Duties
*

  • Create print and digital advertising ranging from direct mail to social media to to web
  • Modify designs as needed to meet the expectations of the company and the client
  • Multitasking to quickly and seamlessly jump from one project to the next

Required Qualifications

  • Strong interest in hair & beauty industry
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite - Including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and AfterEffects
  • Associate’s degree in graphic design and three years of experience, or equivalent combination of higher education and experience equal to four years.
  • Working knowledge & love for all things Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with various print media
  • High quality design capability
  • Attention to detail

Flexible Hours

Monday - Thursday

9:00 am - 1:00pm

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Graphic design: 3 years (Required)
