What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Key Floral?
Part-time floral merchandiser needed to service the floral department in one of our customer locations in Portland, ME approximately 20 hours per week, year round. Hours increase and schedule changes during floral holiday periods.
- Enthusiastic individuals with good work ethic and a genuine interest in exceeding expectations are encouraged to apply.
- Increased hours during floral holidays as well as a minimal weekend visits are required as part of the normal service schedule.
- Our merchandisers work with perishable floral product. The position is fast paced and requires lifting, bending, walking, cleaning, watering, and completing paperwork.
- Applicants must be high energy, self-motivated; and results oriented in order to work well independently.
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills are a MUST!
- Qualified candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Prior retail merchandising is a plus** but we are more than willing to train the right candidate!
