Key Management Company is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Team. This individual would assist with daily operations of an apartment community in the El Dorado area.
The ideal candidate would be a good communicator, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, detail oriented, excellent customer service and strong office administrative skills. Experience working in Property Management a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Assistant Property Manager
- Process rent payments.
- Inquire about late payments and assist in handling any eviction issues.
- Interview new prospective tenants and give tours of property.
- Process applications, conduct credit checks and call references.
- Create and sign leases and ensure that all required legal documents are signed.
- Address and promptly resolve questions, requests, and complaints from tenants.
- Assist with outside marketing as needed.
- Inspect the property on a regular basis to assess condition of buildings and grounds, and to ensure that empty units are ready for new tenants
- Assist the Property Manager with delegating tasks to maintenance including opening and closing work orders.
- Report any problems or issues to the Property Manager.
- Manage records and files of current tenants in a property management data base.
