JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Finance Manager will have responsibility for the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles within the company as well as responsibility for producing monthly reports for use at the executive level of the company. Typical duties include reviewing and preparing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and assisting with or compiling financial forecasts. The Finance Manager will be fully responsible for the monthly P&L close-out process.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable
- Daily expense coding to confirm expense as valid & coded to proper site/job
- Vendor expense and invoice entry with monthly close-out reconciliation
Accounts Receivable
- Invoice entry and monthly billing reconciliation with closeout
- Management of Finance Coordinator (primarily focused on billing)
- Billing audits to ensure complete and accurate revenue capture
- Customer statement generation and distribution
- Weekly collections management and cash forecasting
- Monthly accruals review and entry management
Reporting
- Monthly Divisional P&L reports
- Job costing reporting and process development
- Ad Hoc reporting and analysis
- Daily Report Creation and Distribution
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient with Quickbooks
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with budget oversight and analysis
- Ability to manage, guide, and lead through assistance and education to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with critical thinking
- BS/MA degree in Finance or Accounting
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
