Senior Linux Engineer

Location:

The Centrify/Linux Server Engineer will join a team of talented and highly motivated Linux engineers. This individual will bring senior-level leadership and engineering skillset and help define the direction of Centrify/Linux at Key. They will closely partner with teams across Enterprise Technology Services to modernize the delivery of infrastructure.

• Provide infrastructure delivery functions for virtualized unix server environments with specific focus on the automation of the server provisioning process using common DevOps toolchain platforms.
• Maintain an ecosystem-wide view of the infrastructure delivery organization and provide continuous improvement services to Iaas / PaaS delivery models.
• Provide strong technical leadership and advocate toward continued progress of a DevOps driven infrastructure-as-code delivery model
• Provide excellent customer service with best-in-class communication and leadership

• Experience developing / administering platforms across full technology stack: server OS and server hardware.
• Strong hands on server virtualization experience.
• Strong hands on server administration experiences within Linux (RHEL)
• Strong automation success portfolio demonstrating tactical knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-service(PaaS) & infrastructure-as-codevia use of common DevOps toolchain platforms
• Strong datacenter architecture skills specific to data / database architectures supporting high-availability & disaster recovery

• Administration of Linux OS platforms
• DevOps infrastructure delivery toolchain platforms: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Bitbucket
• Scripting: Python, Ruby, Shell, PowerShell
• Knowledge of common data center architecture tenants including on converged / hyper-converged architecture, hybrid cloud and cloud models

• Administration and deployment of Centrify

• Administration of Windows OS platform
• Experience with administration or development within common relational RDBMS platforms: Oracle, SQL Server & Postgres
• Experience with administration or development within common Data Analytics platforms with Hadoop foundations: IBM Big Insights, IBM BigSQL, Python, R, Spark
• Experience with administration or development within common Data Analytics cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $77,000 to $143,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
