Job Description
As the Software Support Developer, you will be a vital member of a team responsible for delivering and maintaining effective, custom software solutions using Microsoft development tools and technologies including Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You will work with subject matter experts across IT, marketing, recruitment, student services and finance supporting and maintaining high-quality, scalable technology solutions, maximizing efficiency and optimizing the student experience. The right person for the job will apply their knowledge of technology and software development to resolve support Issues, requests, and defects.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support of custom software deployments to Keypath employees via phone and remote screen-share.

Identify and diagnose technical issues that arise and offer effective solutions, following through to resolution.

Thoroughly document support activities in a ticketing system, keeping track of ongoing issues and providing effective solutions.

Create Knowledge Base articles for unique solutions to new technical challenges that arise.

Represent the IT department with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.

Work with business analysts and development manager, to understand business needs and software requirements.

Work with QA, development, and infrastructure teams to produce reliable software implementations that are repeatable across environments.

Maintain and support custom software solutions using Microsoft development technologies including MSFT Dynamics CRM, Azure Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, Visual C#, and Web API.

System Test solutions using manual and automated methods, support QC testing and user acceptance testing as needed

When required attend software deployment and implementations to assist in regression testing.

Contribute to and follow the standards, guidelines and processes defined for the team.

Complete other support related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Required Skills/Competencies/Experience:
-
2 years of software development experience.
-
Background in developing and analyzing customized solutions using Microsoft technologies. This can include on-prem or cloud-based implementations.

Experience analyzing existing code and identifying discrepancies between desired functionalities and developed outcomes
-
Experience developing solutions and integrating with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
-
Experience with third-party SDKs
-
Experience with cloud-based APIs
-
Development experience with .NET framework, C#, and Microsoft development tools

Experience in JavaScript and jQuery
-
Database experience with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and user-defined functions

Experience with software repositories required; TFS and/or azure dev ops preferred

Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of the business needs of past projects

Ability to think logically and articulate thoughts in a clear, concise manner.

Can quickly learn and adapt when dealing with unfamiliar systems and applications.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with managers and co-workers

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience in Web development technologies – Web Services, JSON, CSS, and HTML5
-
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution development

Knowledge of the technical framework of CRM including email, SharePoint, and AD integration options

Knowledge of Dynamics CRM Architecture, Dynamics CRM API, and Entity Model

Understanding of SDLC using Agile Methodologies
