About the Job

This critical R&D management position will direct the Software Development Flows (SDF) organization and related programs. In this role, you will shape and drive the evolution of Keysight’s infrastructure for building, testing, licensing, securing, and deploying software. Duties include: provide strategic, technical, and people-focused leadership to the teams; align with partners and stakeholders across functions and organizations on strategic objectives and execution plans; define and ensure successful delivery of program milestones and target outcomes; and communicate plans and results to senior management.

The SDF organization is responsible for defining, implementing, and supporting a common platform and toolkit that enable continuous integration and deployment of software that is secure, high-quality, and interoperable. The digital infrastructure that we develop fuels the company’s ability to continuously deliver value to our customers and our shareholders.

Responsibilities

  • Actively lead in defining the vision, setting priorities, and crafting the roadmap for the Software Development Flows organization
  • Develop strategies, customer and partner relationships, and specific programs to achieve business objectives
  • Provide guidance and direction to R&D Project Managers and Architects
  • Manage and align scope, schedule, and resources for projects under given responsibility
  • Implement appropriate management processes, tracking mechanisms, and risk management to drive successful execution of projects
  • Lead, motivate, and develop professionals to meet aggressive and challenging objectives

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in CS, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent
  • Typically 10 years of experience in DevSecOps and software development, plus 5 years in a managerial role
  • Understanding of the software development and release lifecycle at scale, including CI/CD approaches
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Experience with formulating strategies and roadmaps
  • Proven relationship management skills across different functional areas & business teams, including ability to facilitate communication among organizations and up and down the management chain
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills and pronounced customer focus
  • Ability to collaborate globally while operating in an environment of autonomy
  • Highly effective people leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to multi-task and formally track details, issues, and risks of multiple large technology projects
  • Experience creating and managing a budget

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver DevSecOps infrastructure on a large scale
  • Understanding of secure software development techniques and knowledge of latest cybersecurity tools, best practices, and governmental regulations
  • Experience defining and developing software license business models and technologies
  • Knowledge of FPGA design tools and development processes
  • Familiarity with Test and Measurement industry, markets, and/or products
