Sustainability Analyst

Keystaff is currently seeking an experienced Sustainability Analyst to fill a opening with Sarasota County in the Twin Lakes Park. The candidate should be able to do the follow:

Primary Purpose: (Briefly summarize the overall function of this position) :

Collect, input, and conduct analysis of local energy use and greenhouse gas emissions data for an inventory report and LEED for Communities certification. Participate in cohorts that will support these initiatives.

Essential Functions:

Conduct Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) Inventory using ClearPath software. Collect electricity and transportation energy use information from appropriate sources, localize data where necessary, enter into software and summarize results in report and for outreach materials. Participate in the Tampa Bay Regional GHG inventory cohort. Analyze, collect, and enter data into the USGBC LEED for Communities certification program. Participate in the Florida cohort. Assist Sustainability staff in collection of best practices on Sustainability Plans, sustainability metrics, and improvement of community outreach materials and methods. Other projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of a two year degree with three years experience OR Bachelor's Degree in related field.

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and/or machines, equipment, special tools as required for the job:

Strong foundation of understanding of sustainability principles and application to local government context. A technical knowledge of energy use and data analysis is preferred.

Schedules:

Monday through Friday and some Weekends 8:00am to 5:00pm / 40 Hours per week

Pay Rate: Starting $17.00 to $20.00 based on Experience
