Who we need:

The Quality and Project Analyst is a key member of our quality improvement team who supports contract growth by working with business development and operations to help develop a new technical solution for our case review work. This role is responsible for recommending process improvements and efficiencies, training lead, helping prepare job aides, as well as supporting the program during the system transition and implementation.

What you’ll do:

  • Learn current workflows and processes
  • Develop project strategy plans based on logical framework approaches
  • Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications
  • Create and manage documentation and reports for projects
  • Identify the goals and requirements of each project
  • Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project
  • Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
  • Collect the necessary information required to start projects
  • Maintain current knowledge on the legislation applicable to each project
  • Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders

What you’ll need:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or information systems required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years related work experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Certification from organization such as IIBA, IQBBA, IREB and PMI, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to lead complex projects.
  • Ability to take a strategy or idea and make it reality through project definition, planning, and execution.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems, good analytical skills, good writing skills.
  • End-to-end thinker – i.e. – what needs to happen to make this initiative successful.
  • Must be able to utilize quality and process improvement tools throughout a project with a desire to improve every situation.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to prepare written status reports to leadership.
  • Understand when to alert leadership of schedule delays and provide recommended solutions.
  • Knowledgeable with evaluating change requests and estimate impact to overall project schedule
  • Provide automation to facilitate data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and conduct training in the tools and methodologies used to train end users.
  • Utilize customer service and networking skills to build strong working relationships.
  • Assertiveness to deal diplomatically with employees of all levels.
  • Attentiveness to deadlines and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma processes and tools.

Experience

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to use lookups, pivot tables, macros, and formulas
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications; including Power Apps, Visio and Project
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
  • Demonstrated ability to create workflows and identify efficiencies
  • Experience creating job aids and training end users
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
