Keystone Human Services is currently seeking an Advanced Clinical Specialist to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. The Advanced Clinical Specialist provides leadership and supervision to the program. This position is responsible for the coordination, completion and implementation of all assessments and support plans, as well as skill development for individuals served. This position will supervise and support team members to appropriately and effectively provide supports and address behavioral concerns through coaching and mentoring. The Work: Practices KHS vision: creates an environment where all people, regardless of background and ‘ability’, can grow, make choices, and be valued and contributing members of our community Demonstrates behavior that supports and fosters principles of inclusion, diversity, and equity Leads the department/program in establishing and obtaining goals in alignment with organization’s strategic plan Supervises staff in the performance of their responsibilities, including establishing employee performance standards, providing training, coaching, counseling and feedback Participates in the hiring and selection process for all positions under direct supervision Monitors quality of services for all functions within assigned area Provides back up coverage and after hours supports as required Serves as a mentor and guides staff emphasizing and modeling leadership skill Develops, oversees and modifies the initial, annual and all updates to the comprehensive assessment for each individual Collaborates with team to develop annual Individual Support Plans that meet the specific needs and desires of each individual and monitors implementation and content of plans Monitors and ensures the consistency and regulatory compliance of all clinical documents Assists in the completion of the all licensing audits and documentation Develops, educates staff, and monitors implementation of all plans to effectively support individuals in service Supports the individual’s team around issues, such as, but not limited to: behavioral incidents, psychiatric hospitalizations, coaching through difficult situations and skill training Routinely reviews all documentation for accuracy, objectivity, respect, timeliness, and adherence to regulations Prepares program reports and statistical data as required, including monitoring and collecting data as needed Develops and maintains excellent, collaborative, and productive relationships with supervisors, peers and other employees Monitors and approves all program expenditures and purchases Completes all financial reconciliations in a timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures Adheres to all licensing, federal, state and local regulations as well as health and safety policies The Perks: Knowing you make a difference everyday $24.50 per hour Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and more Tuition reimbursement available per eligibility requirements Generous paid time off program Extensive training and learning opportunities Career development and advancement Minimum Educational Requirements: (One of the following) Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, counseling, social work, education, applied behavior analysis or gerontology and two years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism Master’s degree or higher in psychology, special education, counseling, social work, education, applied behavior analysis or gerontology and one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License Additional Minimum Requirements: One year of supervisory experience preferred Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Computer proficiency in MS Office and able to learn other software as needed Ability to pass required background checks and clearances Valid driver’s license and daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Successful completion of required trainings within specified timeframes, including First Aid and CPR certifications and others mandated by regulations Keystone Human Services is committed to an inclusive workplace that does not discriminate against race, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or any other protected characteristic under federal, state or local law.
