JOB SUMMARY: To ensure all employees are trained in compliance with internal training classes, ISO, OSHA and other government regulations that apply.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain training database
- Coordinate required training for employees through their managers/supervisors
- New employee orientation training
- Train employees on all required internal training classes and OSHA required programs
- Maintain, research and develop training programs
- Ensure annual training is kept up-to-date
- Maintain all job descriptions
- Safety support
- Maintain ISO 9001 Intranet web site (create additional functions on the web site)
- Maintain ISO 14001 Requirements
- Create, update, and distribute ISO work instruction and operating procedures
- Assist QA and Human Resources department as needed
- Follow all ISO procedures within the Quality department
- Follow all ESD policies and procedures
- Must be courteous and respectful of all non-departmental and departmental employees
- Must have a positive attitude and accept change quickly
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A combination of education, training and experience
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems
- This position requires sitting, standing, using the computer, talking and hearing.
- Lifting may be required up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to speak effectively.
- Must be able to present a program to a large group of employees
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to write, training programs, routine reports and correspondence
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced; time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building, production area, and effectively communicate. The normal environment is moderately loud and may at times be louder in some areas.
