What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at KFK CPA, Inc.?

Summary: Responsible for performing secretarial duties to provide administrative and organization support for the office by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages, and screens and directs telephone calls for management in a professional manner.
  • Maintains an organized office calendar and schedules meetings and appointments as needed.
  • Greets incoming clients in a professional manner and promptly notify the appropriate person of their arrival.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis by operating postage meter.
  • Receives and signs for courier deliveries and notify appropriate personnel that packages have arrived.
  • Performs all other secretarial duties, such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and assembling tax returns.
  • Inventories and orders office supplies and equipment as directed.
  • Files correspondence and documents as necessary.
  • Ensures reception area is tidy, presentable, clean, and stocked with all necessary stationary material.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and CCH Documents, CCH Axcess, and CCH Autoscan.

Education/Experience:

Minimum high school diploma and at least one year of experience working with customers and clients

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
