What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Developer IV position at Kforce Inc.?
- Ensure maximum availability of all Integrations and continuous flow of data
- In the event of data load failures, ensure rapid restoration of service and root cause analysis to resolve future issues
- Manage the resource pool in order to execute on required new data loads, and any enhancements of existing processes
- Provide technical leadership on best practices of data flow, and provide long term guidance for maintaining our data store ecosystem
- Apply knowledge of Microsoft SQL server, supporting operating systems, transaction managers, database tools, utilities, gateways, and middleware to sustain operations
- Apply knowledge of Azure Data Lake and SQL data warehouse, data flow, data factory, to enhance and maintain our data ecosystem
- Engaged in continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Expertise in creating complex extract, translation, and load routines, including detailed error handling and notification against any data source
- Ability to receive data from API calls
- Expertise in creating and maintaining data marts and dimensional model, and the logic to keep these updated
- Understanding of the Kimball model and data warehousing best practices
- Ability to use azure data factory to extract from any data source including big data structures
- Expertise in the azure platform, and its toolset
- Expertise in loading into various big data structures
- Advanced design of curation routines, and best practices around data archival
- Expertise in ETL maintenance through multiple toolsets
- Ability to write complex big data migration routines (Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, .Net)
- Abillity to acquire technical skills quickly from standardized training and online information, in addition to hands on work with team members
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving to identify issues and restore services in a timely manner
- Knowledge of information technology topics (service bus architecture, database staging, master data integration, information accessing methods, etc.)
- Understanding of CICD (continuous integrations/continuous development) git/devops knowledge
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to consult with clients and higher level technicians and analysts to resolve technical problems and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to interact with customers to discuss alternative technical solutions
- Ability to work with only minimal supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances
- Ability to work extra hours and recognize the need to do so
- Ability to adjust scheduled time
- Ability to adjust to change and demands on time
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
