What are the responsibilities and job description for the DBA / Engineer position at Kforce Inc.?
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in a DBA role configuring and supporting a wide range of multiple database platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server)
- Demonstrated experience with AWS services, including, but not limited to KSM, Glue catalog, Athena, IAM, S3, Logging (EMR, EC2 & RDS)
- Demonstrated experience with Linux
- Solid knowledge and experience debugging, identifying root cause, and solving of applications
- Solid knowledge and experience provisioning, upgrading, and tuning database services
- Solid knowledge and understanding of multiple IT subject areas (e.g., development, configuration, deployment, testing, configuration, deployment, monitoring etc.)
- Solid knowledge and understanding of infrastructure technologies and application development methodologies
- Solid knowledge and understanding of System Administration (configurations, installations, patch management, server maintenance, etc.), and Network Management (firewalls, proxies, IP management, routing, DNS)
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Bootstrap
- Knowledge and understanding of GitLab and Jenkins
- Knowledge and understanding of ETL and Informatica
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
