Network Architect (DOCSIS)

Responsibilities

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Network Architect (DOCSIS) in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Summary: The selected candidate will join a dynamic team of architects and engineers innovating Company's future networks. The candidate will be responsible for research, architecture, and engineering activities that maintain and enhance the company's telecommunications hardware, software, and services. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and operation teams to create technical requirements for newly proposed products and services and deliver proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the proposed technologies and works with the teams to deploy these technologies. The individual will also help to manage vendors with products and service deliverables based on Company business requirements and internal customer requests. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Network Architect will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Researches, designs, implements proof-of-concepts, monitors, and enhances systems
• Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary
• As a Network Architect, you will test and review system designs
• Provides Engineering Technical support and guidance to partner teams and ensure all technical
  
  

Requirements

• Experienced in architecting solutions from a service provider perspective
• Working knowledge in various access technologies including HFC DAA, DOCSIS, PON, mobile and Wi-Fi networks
• Knowledge in networking principles, including IPv4/IPv6 routing, TCP/IP, UDP protocols
• Skilled in defining end-to-end architectures for new products
• Proficient in designing comprehensive solutions including median connection integration
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
