Kforces client is looking for a Product Manager II for their Rewards and Partnerships program in Pleasanton, CA. The Customer and Digital Organization is responsible for transforming and offerring customers an easy, exciting, and friendly ecommerce shopping experience through the invention of personalized and localized digital experiences for our 34 million plus weekly customers. Responsibilities:
  • The Product Manager will gather input from a variety of internal and external sources to define product visions and concepts; Analyzes competitors and market trends; Synthesize data, evaluates technologies; Develops detailed requirements, feature definitions, implementation plans, and internal communications
  • Write user stories as a part of the product development lifecycle that: directly support primary objectives of the product and/or initiative, are appropriate in size for iterative development, include clear and specific acceptance criteria, and consider dependencies on other stories and/or projects & initiatives
  • Define common platform for integrating loyalty program features into 3rd party platforms/experiences
  • As a Product Manager, you will participate in cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development; Proactively identifies problems that arise in the project, outlines options, recommends solutions, and escalates as needed
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and product experiences
  • Delivering consumer-facing products/experiences that drive conversion of shoppers to loyalty members and increase engagement from current loyalty members
  • The Product Manager will identify areas that require customer research; Partners with user experience team to user-test designs through mockups, functional prototypes, etc., to ensure they are meeting intended goals

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years of product management experience
  • Ability to work closely with business partners/stakeholders to define the product vision, manage roadmap, define requirements and manage prioritization of all business requests
  • Ability to write user stories that support the primary objectives of the product and include clear and specific acceptance criteria (keeping in mind dependencies)
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development
  • Proactively identifies problems that arise in the project, outlines options, recommends solutions, and escalates as needed
  • Ability to develop supporting business case, including financial impact and benefits statements/KPI's, to support feature/functionality concepts
  • Experience working in an agile environment, with software development/engineering teams
  • Internet and retail experience strongly preferred
  • Strong execution skills and ability to drive throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch
  • Ability to think strategically and synchronize across highly cross-functional teams
  • Ability to quickly develop strong relationships, embracing collaboration to influence peers and external partners
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
