What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Kforce Inc.?
- Project Manager will lead the planning and implementation of accounting/Finance projects
- Develop long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Prepare and present the workflow of any projects as needed
- Act as a bridge between senior staff and the people who are responsible for the execution of the projects
- Serve as the point of contact on all Finance projects
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with a project
- As a Project Manager, you will support Ad-hoc requests
- Partner with Senior Finance Dept staff to ensure adherence to plan/forecast financials
- Provide analysis support for leadership to drive and improve decision making
- Partner/collaborate with Finance team on various projects
- Act as a liaison between the Finance Department and any external departments and/or companies that are required to complete projects
- Perform regular quality control analysis on projects to ensure that all standards are met
- Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of experience in the planning and implementation of accounting projects
- Experience in not-for-profit accounting preferrable
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software certification is preferable
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to define projects' scope, goals, deliverables, and tasks
- Ability to understand the flow of transactions
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask to meet deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
