This role requires strong leadership skills, financial industry experience, and proficiency in test automation using Selenium and Java. Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5-8 QA Engineers in an Agile environment
- Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using best practices
- Execute test scripts to validate application functionality
- Conduct various types of testing (smoke, white box, black box, integration, regression, system)
- Participate in requirement and design review sessions from a test automation perspective
- Manage test coverage based on risk analysis
- Document defects and prioritize based on application functionality
- Coordinate test script reviews with stakeholders
- Adhere to requirements, defect, and test script writing guidelines
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables within schedule, budget, and quality constraints
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions
- Ensure adherence to software development life cycle standards
- Foster good relationships within the project team
- Multi-task to meet deadlines and accurately estimate work assignments
- Demonstrate assertiveness and problem-solving skills
- Identify and overcome obstacles to drive continuous improvement in QA processes
- Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab)
- Financial industry experience
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of QA processes and deliverables
- Proficient in defect tracking and root cause analysis tools (Jira, Rally)
- Expertise in test automation concepts and approaches
- Experience working with remote teams
- Familiar with utilization of risk-based testing techniques
- Experience in test environment and test data management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO, Marathon, or Appium
- Experience with SOA and integration testing, log analysis
- Familiarity with test runners like JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine
- Experience with Selenium Grid
- Proficiency in SQL for backend database validation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably SAFe Agile
- Ability to develop and maintain automation test scripts using modular frameworks
- Experience with Kibana or Splunk is preferred
