Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Analyst in Boston, MA. Duties Include:
- System Analyst will lead and contribute to new product technical visioning/solutions
- Understand and contribute to scalable technical solutions
- Examine and analyze existing IT systems and business models and identify requirements
- Review current code to ensure data validation and business rules for new deployment
- As a System Analyst, you will assist in defining project scope based on analysis of business requirements and existing systems
- Write user stories which include concise and clear system requirements that will be used by developers to implement API updates, data stores and user interfaces
- Produce use case documents and functional solutions to achieve project goals
- Sheppard implementation of a new system including data migration where needed
- Develop domain expertise for assigned components
- Participate in the development and review of test plans by QA
- Bachelor's degree required. Technology-related field preferred
- 5-7 years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment
- Experience with systems development methodologies and formal documentation processes; Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience is expected
- You have strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment, involving multiple partners, technical groups, COEs, squads, product areas and domains
- Experience working in an environment with multiple applications and integrations
- Demonstrated ability to work across multi-functional teams
- You are a technical problem solver, who can work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, engaging, collaborating and supporting capabilities across-product areas and domains
- Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and become a contributor to a highly functioning team
- Demonstrable understanding of the financial services industry, attained through training and application experience
- Financial Services knowledge is ideal
- Excellent social skills including communication, leadership, and influence
- Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Can navigate the organization in order to accomplish your work
- Can successfully multitask across a variety of tasks and responsibilities
- Can effectively take the lead on issues and gain resolution in a timely manner
- Proactive, diligent, standout colleague who understands how systems applications can provide solutions to business problems and objectives
- Knowledge of API Development, AWS (Cloud) Migration, UI Design, Data Design and Workflow/Process Automation is strongly preferred
