RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an App/Business Analyst in New York, NY.
Key Tasks:
* Responsible for multiple project team backlogs
* App/Business Analyst will partner with and provide mentorship to BA team members
* Work with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to elicit and refine user requirements
* Work with the Dev team to elicit and refine operational or enabler requirements
* Facilitate Product and Sprint Backlog refinement sessions
* Document business requirements and present these requirements in a manner that is concise, measurable, and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs
* Provide modeling of the business processes; Understand the business need and impacts of proposed solutions
* As a App/Business Analyst, you will develop business and application domain knowledge for an assigned business portfolio and/or line of service
* Developing and executing UAT and relevancy testing strategies and processes
* Analyze projects to track issues, risks, dependencies, milestones, and progress against agreed plans and review project documentation for accuracy
* Engaging and/or assisting in release planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-up meetings, estimation, and other related activities
* Leading the teams to improvements through the application of Agile best practices
* Communicate and promote Agile ways of working
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience collecting and managing business needs and requirements throughout the project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation)
* Experience working with Agile and Lean delivery methodologies
* Demonstrate proven interpersonal skills; Able to establish and maintain a close working relationship with Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters, Technical Leads, Developers, Product Owners and Stakeholders
* Proven success documenting business needs and requirements with a diverse group of stakeholders and delivering well written use cases and/or user stories that are traceable to design and test documents
* Proven ability to provide mentorship to less senior business analysts
* Ability to successfully manage work on multiple project initiatives
* Servant leadership mindset
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
